Project LOCAL (Learning Our Community’s American Lore) provides resources for teachers to incorporate the local history of their communities into the teaching of traditional American history.
Perseus Digital Library, Tufts University. Sources on the history of the 19th-century United States. Included are Volumes 1-30, dating from 1898 to 1927 of the Historical Register, published by the Medford Historical Society.
Medford Historical Maps Online. We’ve assembled a set of links to other sites with maps related to the history of Medford and surrounding areas.
Our Medford: An Elementary Guide to the History of Medford. For kids and anyone interested in an illustrated introduction to Medford History. A collaboration with MHSM, it is used in Medford’s grade 3 classrooms.
